Large quality memory box, made with Crotch Walnut Lid, and Macassar Ebony, Bubinga trim, sanded, buffed to musical instrument quality. Brusso machined brass quadrant hinges. This type of figure results from the weaving together of wood fibers strengthening the area around major limbs and branches. The tree must exceed 200 years old to produce this beautiful figuring and is only found in western United States, consequently very rare.
