This extra large handcrafted keepsake box with lock is made of Cherry Burl and red Oak. The Burl is 1/8" thick and laminated to 5/8" thick red Oak. All 3/4' thick though-out. The trim is Marble wood and makes for a great color match. Dovetail construction and a strong best quality lock and Brusso quadrant hinges. The finish is acrylic lacquer, 12 coats sanded and buffed to a musical instrument quality finish. All hardware is solid machine brass and nickel plated.
