This large handcrafted locking memory box is made of Honduras Mahogany, it comes from most countries in Central and South America. Environmental pressures have lessened the supply of this wood, and only scarcely available in plain or quartered sawn in 4/4”.Very hard to find Marbled Mahogany like this again as most exotic woods are being baned from import. This keepsake box has lock, handles, quadrant hinges, and 12 coats of acrylic lacquer sanded and buffed to musical instrument quality.
