First it is truly a box within a box where the Spanish Cedar
lining is completely removable. As the photos illustrate the liner top and bottom can be removed with 4 screws for the lid
and the bottom just pulls out. This is great for the following reasons. No stress problems due to expansion and contraction
of the Spanish Cedar wood from moisture content. The air gap between the liner and box allows for a natural barrier for air
flow and insulation. Also the liner (Spanish Cedar) can be cleaned and sanded as needed, and inspected for Cigar worms and
mold. One last point is that "God forbid" you ever give
up Cigars, this expensive Humidor can be converted easily to a box with another purpose.
Other important Notes:
The through dovetail ends are 1/32" extended to touch the box assuring no
sliding or movement, but allows the Spanish Ceder sides to expand from moisture without putting pressure on the external
box. This can be seen from the photos. The seal is perfect by the use of a hand fitting alignment technique.
All Humidors come with Humidifier and Hydrometer "Credo
Precision 70 humidifier" and "Credo analog Hydrometer". But you can specify something different.
always provide two trays, but you can ask for different depths.
Through dovetail construction with no glue used. This gives
you the ability to completely disassemble the Spanish Cedar insert.
